Find your future with us.The Everett Engineering Operations – Data Analytics & Metrics Team for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Business process Analyst to provide metrics and analytics support to Program Engineering Leadership and other decision makers with the desired outcome of improving productivity, increasing quality, and lowering cost; this position will work closely with Bus Ops BEDAT team and other analytics organizations. The selected candidate will work out of our Everett, WA location.
Position Responsibilities:
Works with program leadership teams to define requirements for predictive metrics and analysis regarding the engineering value streamLeads development of new metrics and actionable information to improve productivity, increase quality, and lower costLeads data analyses for purpose of opportunity identification and prioritization and recommends process improvement projectsParticipates with engineering Leadership regarding visibility of top issues facing the program and evaluates efficacy and use of data in decision makingEvolves data analysis methods; to guide program to continually advance in analytics maturity; Descriptive --> Diagnostic --> Predictive --> Prescriptive data analysis and automationProvides visibility and awareness of data analytics processes and tools and lead implementation of data analytic platforms within program engineering teamsProvide project management of team's schedules and deliverables; Supports, leads, and delegates the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycleEngineering process domain knowledge preferredAbility to identify and create qualitative or quantitative measures of success and failureAbility to select the key parameters and develop standards to monitor progress, provide updates of performance, and plot trends over time
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years’ related experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
