Find your future with us.Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and innovative ExperiencedBusiness Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Operations Business Intelligence & Integration team in Seattle, WA.
This Analyst will support the development and deployment of Business Intelligence Solutions to support BT&E to run the business predictably, effectively and efficiently.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in designing and developing business intelligence models, dashboards, metrics and reports for the improvement of business productivity. Seeking a quick starter, with high organizational skills, effective time management skills and the ability to evaluate and comprehend project requirements and/or specifications and translate them into solutions that meet our stakeholders’ needs. The ideal candidate will have advanced working knowledge of data analytics, information systems and database management.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectivesCombine programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomesImplement solutions utilizing SQL, PLSQL, ETL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, .NET, and/or PythonDevelop/Enhance data models for existing/new solutionsCollect, organize, synthesize and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sourcesDevelop an understanding of the processes, policies and procedures, products, and capabilities of the BT&E organization Partner with teammates to develop and implement BI solutions utilizing Application Lifecycle Management processes and best practicesIntegrate with the development team and project manager to clearly articulate status through project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO)Ensure that new dashboards, tools, applications, changes, etc. are properly tested prior to releaseCoordinate technical dependencies with the team to ensure holistic system integrityAssist in the collection and documentation of project requirements as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field3+ years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions3+ years of experience interfacing with databases using SQL or PL/SQLExperience integrating different tools, models and/or databases to automate data sharing
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experienced with ETL conceptsExperience with web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSSProficient with Angular and/or .NET C#/VB Development with deep understanding of the frameworks and their various componentsExperience with Microsoft Excel application using advanced features such as formulas, VLookups, Power Query, Macros and PowerPivotKnowledge in programming languages and predictive and prescriptive analytics (ex: Python, R, etc.Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and working in an agile project environmentExcellent verbal, written communication and organizational skillsPrior experience in a Business Intelligence Role (BEH5, BEH6, BEH7, etc.)
