The successful candidate will manage the implementation of global engineering strategies by partnering with senior and executive cross-functional leaders in the Enterprise Global Engineering Team, Divisional Chief Engineers, Capabilities, Functional Chief Engineers, Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S), Finance, Global Trade Controls (GTC), Human Resources (HR), Program Management, and Strategy. It requires understanding of international business strategies across the breadth of Boeing businesses. Engagement with technical partners across the range of disciplines, from materials to manufacturing, aerodynamics to environmental performance, manufacturing to systems, and export networks to purchase services is important to success in this role.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead development of global engineering strategy, goals, and objectives in collaboration with BDS Engineering leadership
Work with BDS Division, Program, and Capability leaders to identify, capture, and develop work statements strategically aligned to global sites.
Manage BDS Global Engineering project portfolio including business case impacts, risks, opportunities and communicate performance and health to stakeholders
Establish cadence with our teammates in Boeing India, Poland, BDUK, and Australia
Collaborate with global site focals to track opportunities and headcount projections at each site.
Identify critical skill growth opportunities and development within the ecosystem
Work across organizational boundaries collaborating with Global Trade Controls on licensing and export compliance, IT on tool access, Finance on funding and headcount planning, and global stakeholders on facilitating project integration to meet program needs.
Define and maintain the operating rhythm architecture with cross-functional coordination to prepare for and facilitate of executive level meetings
Apply project management skills to lead or support global engineering projects
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels
Domestic / international travel up to 10-25% time
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with leadership on projects and initiatives in support of global engineering projects
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners around the globe
5+ years of work experience project management in including business case definition, scope, planning, scheduling and execution of complex projects
Experience leading and driving engineering strategies and/or processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Experience with our Global Engineering teams (example India, Poland, UK, and Australia)
Natural leadership style
Ability to make sense of complex issues and communicate information simply
Experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
Experience with Export Regulations and Global Trade Control requirements

Summary Pay Range (level 4): $128,350 - $173,650
Summary Pay Range (level 5): $157,250 - $212,750
