Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) Complex Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Agent (Associate) . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services BGS Supply Chain. The Complex Procurement team creates and develops request for proposals based on a set of requirements, solicits the supply base for compliant proposals, negotiates acquisition costs and ensures on time delivery of aerospace hardware. This team is responsible for complex purchase order placement, adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.Communicate performance expectations and metrics to our suppliers to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.Manage supplier production readiness for entry into service.Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management.Consults with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues.Initiate and implement supplier recovery and improvement activities and manage mitigation plans.Gather and maintain data related to suppliers’ products portfolio.Negotiate and place purchase orders.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes1+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in tracking deliveries and shipments of goods from suppliers3+ years of experience SAP or ERP equivalentBachelor's degree or higher preferred but not required
Typical Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 3 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
