The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA.

The selected candidate will work at the Everett factory with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department. The successful candidate will perform day to day EHS support for operations in the 767 program.

Position Responsibilities:

Plans, implements and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Develops and provides training and instructions

Evaluates, interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

Prepares position papers and provides input to internal organizations, industry and trade groups and government agencies

Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies

Conducts audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

1+ years of experience performing Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene duties in an industrial environment

1+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

1+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

Experience with addressing occupational health and safety hazards related to aircraft flight and ground operations

Experience with aircraft systems

Experience with aircraft hazardous energy control programs

Experience developing and implementing process improvements

Summary pay range: $80,750 – $109,250
