Boeing is looking for an experienced Associate Industrial Security Specialist to join its security team in Tukwila, WA.

As an Associate Industrial Security Specialist, you will work with senior and junior staff members to administer and implement US Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the DoD Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security rules and/or other authoritative sources of security regulations. As an individual contributor, you will ensure programmatic security posture is compliant with all applicable regulations by performing the following actions:

Roles and Responsibilities

Utilize USG specific databases to determine personnel eligibility to access classified information such as JPAS/DISS, Scattered Castles, JADE, JADS, Enterprise Security Systems (SIMS), and other databases and record-keeping repositoriesAssist in conducting initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as requiredManage personnel records, classified material records, and/or other sensitive records in to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and correctnessParticipate in inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountabilityContribute to activity or program concept of operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations; establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materialsCommunicate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial, and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and U. S. Government customers, to meet contract goals, make security determinations, or apply deviations from standard practices as may be required

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications:

At least 4 years work experience overall 2 years of experience in a security support capacity such as, personnel security administration, physical security, communications security or other programmatic security-related fieldSuccessfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer requiredAbility to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) accessBe proficient in desktop computing and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a self-starterAbility to obtain a successful a US government polygraph examination

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a background investigation date within the last 6 years; In Scope polygraph examinationPrior Industrial Security experience (2+years), Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in Industrial Security-related role or Master’s DegreeCDSE, NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or related security certificationsExperience working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environmentWorking knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP ManualsAbility to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to perform occasional second-shift or after-hours work schedules to accommodate program operations Ability to maintain positive working relationship with internal and external customersExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to assert control of large groups of people and comfortable with public speakingStrong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $82,000 - $103,000

This position may offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates
