Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Contracts Procurement Agent (Level 2)to join our In-Service – PSAA Fleet Reliability Contractsteam in Seattle, Washington or Everett, Washington!

This procurement agent will negotiate and enforce complex supplier agreements to ensure our production suppliers provide adequate aftermarket support to airline customers. The right fit for this role enjoys contract terms and conditions, is comfortable with confrontation, but ultimately is customer support-centric and ready to build strong relationships to achieve the best business outcomes. This is a unique team that negotiates with suppliers but also interfaces directly with airline customers to support their contract enforcement of these 3-party agreements.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

Trains airlines on their contractual rights with parts suppliers. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers and BoeingCommunicate performance expectations and metrics to the supplierDevelop executive-level summaries and presentations and share input with executive leadershipTravel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support BoeingDevelop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstancesAnalyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as neededConduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) managementMitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activitiesLead Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issuesFacilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

1+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes1+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settingsMust be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10-20% may be required)1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher1+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry1+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
