AWS Finance team Senior Program Manager
AWS Finance team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to drive the evolution of our financial reporting and analysis systems for the global AWS business. The success of these systems will be instrumental to AWS’ ability to scale forecasting and analysis for a fast growing and increasingly complex global organization. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the system is accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. This role will support and enable the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the AWS organization. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, and who can assist in the strategic system development around the globe. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field - 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines -5+ years of experience in process definition, having taken a process from concept to execution - Prior experience in a Program Management or Project Management role - Previous experience supporting Finance projects - PMP - Advanced experience with Excel - MBA or Master’s in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field - Direct experience using Cognos/TM1 - Experience in developing financial software - Ability to dive deep into
