Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class consumer product. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. This role will support and enable the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the finance organization. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, and who can assist in strategic system development. This person will be expected to take
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field - 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines -5+ years of experience in process definition, having taken a process from concept to execution - Prior experience in a Program Management or Project Management role - Previous experience supporting Finance projects - PMP - Advanced experience with Excel - MBA or Master’s in a related field - Experience in developing financial software - Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems in order to invent, simplify
