We align closely to the company mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Did you know that 1 billion people use Windows yet only a very small fraction of them have a relationship with Microsoft? Who are these hundreds of millions of users and how can we keep them as happy customers? Many have low to medium confidence in using computers, and specifically Windows. This is our target audience. We are here to build trust and confidence in our users and build customer empathy in our engineers. Our team is working to push the boundaries and establish innovative channels of engagement between Windows engineers and Windows users. Own the overall engineering engagement model for Windows Community. Design and develop ways to increase awareness and involvement of engineering teams in our community. Develop and own engagement and communications strategy, supporting plans, and instructions. Present compelling reasons for engineering teams to get involved in Windows Community. Work closely with engineering leadership to get their buy in and commitment for engagement from their organizations. Communicate regular newsletters out to engineering teams about the progress of Windows Community. Build strong partnerships with Windows
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field 5 years of proven experience in project or program management and hands on experience in engaging with engineering teams and senior leadership. Preferred qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for multiple target audiences including customers and the press. Excellent presentation skills. This role has a high degree of visibility and requires someone with strong executive presence that can communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of engineering leadership and individual
