Our team builds the foundational Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision technology that powers Alexa’s ability to understand customers better with her contextual awareness and multi-sensory capabilities. Alexa AI organization’s mission is to “Invent AI capabilities to complete reactive and proactive customer interactions naturally and without any friction, anytime and anywhere”. The Senior Product Manager-Technical is a new role in Amazon Alexa’s AI organization. Our AI will be ambient and customer-centric, leveraging the latest scientific methods to create productive, natural interactions for our customers as they go about their daily lives. As Senior PM-Technical, you will define and shape the strategic initiatives to enable Alexa to interact with customers more naturally in new ways using her multi-sensory understanding beyond just voice. You will build new understanding capabilities into our core AI, and also identify the opportunities for Alexa developer customers to leverage
• 5+ years of product management experience • 3+ years of defining, building and managing products at large scale • 1+ years working with developer-facing technologies • Bachelor of Science degree • Experience with Computer Vision/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence systems • An understanding of core techniques in spoken language understanding/search • Experience managing people • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven track record driving innovation on behalf of both enterprises and consumers • Exceptional customer focus • Experience delivering technology products/services
