Senior Product Manager – Technical, Alexa AI is a new role in the Amazon Alexa’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) organization. Alexa AI organization’s mission is to “Build AI capabilities to complete reactive · and proactive customer interactions naturally and without any friction, anytime and anywhere”. This role’s focus is in the Alexa Traffic product area. Alexa is a leader in voice experiences, in large part thanks to the strength of the artificial intelligence that we use to understand what our customers have asked her. A critical factor in Alexa’s success are the runtime decisions that we make as to how to route customer inputs to the best action response (“Traffic”). Thanks to the contributions of thousands of Alexa developers, there many possible response providers to choose from. Selecting the best one requires runtime evaluation of the customer’s context among many other input signals, business policies, and guardrails. · BS in Engineering · 5+ years of product management experience · Experience in product management, machine learning, and software services · MBA or MS in Computer Science or other Engineering Disciplines · Proven track record of building and managing world-class products · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences · Ability to think strategically · Thought leader, who can learn new technology and drive long-term business strategy · Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technology
