Amazon’s US Books team is seeking a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to lead expansion of a breakthrough new product offering, Prime Book Box. Recently launched in May 2018, Prime Book Box unlocks a strategic customer segment opportunity for Books, with significant opportunity to expand across Amazon. This role provides a unique opportunity to play a key role in a groundbreaking new subscription initiative at Amazon. You will have the opportunity to build and shape the direction of a new and growing business. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and strong business judgment. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, provide thought leadership in a fast-paced start-up environment, and partner with technology teams and senior leadership to ensure the success of this program. We are looking for someone who can champion a vision, engage confidently and effectively at all levels of the organization,
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline · 6+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional projects· MBA or Graduate degree in Business preferred · Strong data extraction, analytical and problem solving skills · SQL proficiency with large datasets. · Conceived of and led a team to launch a V1 product · Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done · Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment · High degree
