The Sr Finance Manager, Ops Tech IT, will be responsible for providing financial support for Worldwide WW Operations IT finance support and projects that drive significant value. The Ops Tech IT team provides IT services to all WW Ops sites. This role will work with leaders, project managers, supply chain, and regional Finance teams. The candidate will help prioritize key technologies which optimize free cash flow and drive improved productivity. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements on strategic projects to continuously improve the economics of the business. The role is located in Amazon’s Headquarters in downtown Seattle. · MBA or Masters In Economics, Finance or similar discipline with analytical bias · 8+ years' experience in a large corporate finance environment with heavy emphasis on analytics · Strong knowledge of financial modeling · An understanding of SQL would be considered a plus · Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items · Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and opaque environment · Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills vital · Strong communication and presentation skills · Strong interpersonal skills
