The Profit Intelligence (PI) Finance team is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to be part of a team that delivers innovative solutions for our global consumer organization to improve financial analysis, business decisions, profitability, and planning at an unprecedented scale. At Automated Profitability Management (APM), our vision is to automate and improve Amazon Profitability through the innovative application of Machine Learning and Software Engineering. Traditionally, this involved an Amazon business person picking up the phone, calling up Selling Partners to discuss and improve the terms of doing business with Amazon. These terms include: what is the price Amazon pays for products it buys? How do we handle the cost of bringing in the product / cover any damage to the products? Can we get funding for initiatives like promotions and merchandising on our website? Do we have alternative sourcing channels (e.g. two or more Selling Partners offering the same product) so we can negotiate
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent · Minimum 7 years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· CPA or MBA preferred · Audit or controllership experience · Program, Project, or Product Management experience · Financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and related skills · Advanced analytical skills · Demonstrated ability to drive process changes, influence roadmaps,
