The Finance Manager supporting Global Tax will partner closely with senior leaders to manage their annual spend, including headcount. The role is also responsible for managing org-wide programs that impact Tax operations and its people. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and cross-functionally is a must. Ideal candidate must be customer-focused and have ability to look around corners to support a global, growing organization. This role requires strong self-motivation, a process orientation and high interest in solving process and technology problems. Influencing and team building skills are essential for the success of this position. In this role, your key responsibilities will be: · Manage components of forecasting and variance analyses for the Tax organization · Mine and analyze data for metrics and decision support · Identifying gaps or ideal-state enhancements in existing processes and technology and implement improvements · Lead and own org-wide programs that impact operations
· BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field. · 7+ years’ experience in finance, forecast and budgeting, or other finance-focused competency · Master’s degree in business, or a related field · Experience and track record of process improvement and delivery of financial features · Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop strategy · Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously · Experience working cross-functionally
