Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key partner in driving the financial partnership within our Heavy Bulky Team. We are making sizable investments in 2019 to continue to optimize our retail businesses and are expanding services to enhance the Heavy Bulky delivery experience (Heavy Bulky = anything 50lbs that is offered on Amazon). This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most creative, project based areas within Amazon.com. On Heavy Bulky, you will work closely with business owners, financial controllers across Amazon.com businesses, and Specialty Operations teams in capacity planning, strategy, fulfillment, and finance. You’ll be interfacing daily with senior leaders and helping them gain needed insight into our customer experience, supply chain, costs, and process improvement opportunities. This position will report into our US Retail Finance organization and will be the direct finance partner for the Senior Leader Heavy Bulky to provide financial oversight, insightful analysis,
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent · Minimum 7 years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· MBA, CPA or CFA · Proficiency in SQL · Demonstrated financial modeling and analysis skills · Experience with financial reporting · Highly analytical and detail oriented · Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions · Exceptional verbal
