Amazon Web Services (AWS) Special Programs Group (SPG) is looking for a well-rounded, enthusiastic and personable Asst. Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with deep customer focus, program management skills, problem solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively to support its growing Security Team. This position is based out of Seattle, WA and reports to the Corporate Security Officer (CSO). The Special Programs Group manages an extensive portfolio of both classified and unclassified operations to ensure the support of our U.S Government customers, and protection of National Security. SPG is comprised of 5 distinct lines of business which drive and support AWS classified regions: Personnel Security, Construction and Accreditation, Information Systems Security and Data Center Security. Management of the AWS National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in the Seattle home office, and managing the day-to-day operations. The AFSO will champion security best practices to ensure

· Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer or an equivalent role · Current and active Top Secret Clearance · BA/BS level degree from an accredited University or equivalent experience in industry or military performing security management, program management, or compliance. · Minimum 5 years experience performing Security Management and Compliance. · Minimum of 5 years managing corporate level program operations or similar large scale programs. · Minimum 5 years experience supporting operations in a civilian or military capacity. · Experience managing an Insider Threat Program · In-depth
