The Key Responsibilities of this role are as followed: Collaborate with cross functional team members across Microsoft to efficiently and effectively execute and manage trade compliance. Create an environment of collaboration, trust and compliance by design: o Serving as trade focal point and trusted advisor when engaging with stakeholders to effectively respond to changing business and regulatory environments o Providing day-to-day assistance, communications, briefings, awareness, and developing and managing compliance training to the stakeholders in relation to export control related laws and
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Law or J.D. Degree. MA or BS in Business Administration will be considered an asset. Minimum of 5+ years of direct export compliance experience. Must have demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience of: o U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security ("BIS"), Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"), o U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls ("DDTC"), International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR") o Missiles Technology Control Regime ("MTCR") Direct and extensive experience in Departments of State and Commerce
