Amazon is seeking a Business Operations Manager, based in Seattle, WA, to join the combined Kindle Content and Books organization. Having a single-threaded leader who creates and runs effective mechanisms that address business planning, metrics, and goals is a key element to helping the group scale. This is a hands on role. The successful candidate will work effectively across VP’s and Directors to establish, run, and evolve the mechanisms we use to run our business such as weekly business reviews, operational planning, and our goal setting and status update processes. They will help determine key metrics and weekly, monthly, quarterly finance reporting as well as processes for analyzing performance to understand business variations, drive innovation and growth. They will take part in strategic planning and be expected to provide their voice on all aspects of the business.
