Overall Scope and Impact: The Business Manager is a critical role that works closely with the SW/FW Dev General Manager driving business operations, internal communications and organizational health. This position is responsible for the business management functions that ensure effectiveness of the Dev GM operating rhythm, including setting up key processes to get work done. The Business Manager will provide insight and advice to the SW/FW Dev LT around operational excellence, headcount, resource and fiscal planning and participate in overall group strategy decisions.
Core Responsibilities: Business Process: Lead and coordinate the Devices SW/FW organization ROB and improve processes to run the business efficiently as the organization scales. Partner with finance and procurement to ensure effective budget management, headcount management and forecasting. Partner with staffing team to meet hiring requirements and elevate staffing conversations with the Devices SW/FW LT. Develop SW/FW processes to encompass customer-facing, manufacturing-facing and all-up SW/FW integration delivery Business Planning: Partner with the Devices SW/FW LT and with the Devices Dev Chief
Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Effective at driving complex multi-stakeholder processes and cross-team programs to desired results while managing risk. Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills for a geographically dispersed audience. Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels. Detail-oriented with analytical problem solving skills.
