Desire a pivotal role in the transformation of BI capability for a global business that is immersed in Microsoft's full product and services catalog? Services Insights team is chartered to enable positive business outcomes by driving right behaviors and decisions through bold insights. This team understands the business goals, strategic drivers, success outcomes and associated behaviors, leading to the findings and insights needed to support the business outcomes. You will partner to meet a spectrum of demand across insights, analytics, decision-boards and scorecards. Services Insights endeavors to foster an insights-driven culture, to encourage and enable the entire organization to make more informed decisions through bold insights. Your passion and desire to define and enact the vision for insights and analytics will shape this function
Own the end to end insights creation-to-consumption lifecycle, leading business problem definition, hypotheses formulation, designing and delivering the solution Deliver on the insights across the traditional BI to advanced analytics, depending upon the business need Design and deliver the insights solutions in a hands-on manner as well as leading a small vendor team Engage broadly with stakeholders and business team leaders to structure and prioritize business problems where insights can have the biggest impact. Be a hands-on technical lead who can own, drive and develop an Advanced Analytics/Business
Basic: 8+ years of experience in Analytics/BI/reporting, strong passion for solving big challenges with demonstrated history of innovative thinking and problem-solving skills Experience building and operationalizing complex, large scale, highly available BI experiences Experience in full development life cycle of an Analytics platform; strong skills and experience in SQL, Integration and Analysis Services, Power BI or similar open source BI tools including open source platform Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand
