We have an opening on the Microsoft University Recruiting team pursuing and closing the best and brightest from universities across the globe. As a University Staffing Consultant focused on Account Management you gain a solid understanding of Microsoft's businesses while impacting the future of the company. University Recruiting requires problem solvers that enjoy evaluating and seizing opportunities. As an Account Management Recruiter (AMR) you are at the center of the action and will work closely with Microsoft's engineering leaders to define hiring demand. You will also work closely with the broader University Recruiting (UR) team to guide the right volume and mix of talent to meet that hiring demand. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leaders, HR leaders, Diversity and Inclusion leaders, university school recruiters, and candidate closers to lead, influence and shepherd strong university hiring results in a very competitive talent market.

• Headcount planning and management – partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and business partners, Microsoft Finance teams, to influence work force plans; collect, define and manage corresponding university requisitions for current and long-term talent needs. • Strategic advisory – consultative trusted advisor with business, identifying business hiring needs and collaboratively consult on topics such sourcing strategies, hiring trends, intern program development, diversity, candidate attraction, interview best practices; build strong connections with key stakeholders in the company, both globally
Minimum qualifications for this position should include a BA/BS or MS/MA degree and at least 3-5 years of technical, university, MBA, and or related recruiting experience in a results oriented environment. Candidates for this role must have demonstrated experience and expertise managing high candidate or requisition volumes and developing sophisticated recruiting strategies. Candidates for this position should be comfortable working autonomously, have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, strong planning and organization skills and possess proven coordination skills.
