Amazon Canada's Softlines team is looking for a bright, customer obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. The Vendor Manager will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for manufacturers (vendors) in key Softlines categories; Shoes and Clothing. Vendor Managers utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. This role is responsible for new product launches, inventory management, forecast generation, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca. In addition, Vendor Managers conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts, marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, social media and other channels, to grow the vendor’s traffic,

· Bachelor's degree · 2-4 years of relevant experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results · 2+ years managing multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation · Proficiency with Excel · Prior experience building presentations · Experience in negotiations and influencing others either externally and/or with internal stakeholders MBA preferred · Online retail experience · Understanding of retail metrics including financials · Excellent business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills · Strong
