What motivates a customer to buy an Amazon device? What does the journey look like from their first understanding through purchase and beyond? The Devices Online Customer Experience team seeks a thoughtful, creative, and passionate User Researcher to help us build the next generation of shopping for Amazon Devices, including Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Kindle E-readers, Home Security products, and more. This role would be responsible for planning and executing the research strategy for Amazon Devices, partner with stakeholders on generative, longitudinal, and consultative research required to understand Devices customers and their pain points, and recommend potential solutions and areas to dig further into as an outcome of their research Join our team to uncover customer needs and insights, help translate them into new ideas and deliverables, and see your work affect millions of people. Our product partners are eager to hear the insights our team produces, as we directly influence the

· Bachelo'rs degree in psychology, cognitive science, Human Centered Interaction (HCI), etc. · 3+ years of experience gathering data from customers to inform design and business decisions as a user researcher, user experience designer, or similar role. · A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g. surveys, user study designs, research reports, etc.). · End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, moderation, analysis, reporting). · Hands-on experience with lab-based user testing, remote testing, iterative prototype testing, survey design, and usage
