The Global Operations team at Amazon is looking for a senior engineer to support our unified communications infrastructure worldwide. Your peers will be systems and network engineers working to make our telephony and conferencing platforms more capable, scalable, reliable and efficient. Responsibilities include:
· BA/BS in an engineering or relevant experience. · Deep industry experience · Experience managing large-scale enterprise or carrier hosted VoIP and/or video platforms. · Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, and RTP · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong interpersonal and customer service skills · Expertise in many of the following technologies and protocols: BGP, OSPF, SIP, RTP, IP, TCP (internals and flow control), UDP, DNS, DHCP, T1/E1, Ethernet, firewalls, IT security best practices and videoconferencing · Experience in Linux systems administration · Enterprise level expertise
