Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Tradeshow/Event Marketing Manager to support third-party events and tradeshows globally. The Event Marketing Manager is an integral part of the Global Events Marketing team who is responsible for planning and executing third-party events, primarily tradeshows and conferences, to increase awareness and drive leads. Some of the shows supported by this role include NRF (National Retail Federation), MWC (Mobile World Congress), HIMSS, VMworld, SAPPHIRE, Gartner Symposium, and other smaller events aligned to key customer segments. In this role, you will plan and execute events targeting a variety of audiences and technologies. Your daily responsibility as a tradeshow/event expert will include working closely with industry, product and solutions marketing managers to identify goals, content, and promotion strategy, manage budgets, and coordinate all logistics. You will utilize exceptional project management skills to manage pre-event reviews,

· Experience in B2B, high-tech products/services. · 5 + yrs experience supporting tradeshows and events in the areas of: Cloud, Big Data, Storage, Database or other technologies and industries. Budget management · Experience using Salesforce, Tableau, or marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo). · With exposure to multiple teams, this is a highly-matrixed role, and candidates need to be strategic thinkers, hands on, highly organized, detail-oriented, and have experience in tradeshows and using events as lead generation. · Excel at cross-group collaboration, problem solving and have a bias
