The candidate should have many of the following qualifications: · Must have excellent communication and documentation skills · 3+ years of operational/support experience in SIP/VoIP · Expert understanding of SIP and related VoIP protocols · Strong UNIX/Linux fundamentals · Strong focus on operational process improvements · Experience troubleshooting carrier and various connectivity issues both IP and TDM · Excellent IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols. · Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause and prevention · Experience working with telecom carriers turning up
