Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Technical/Programming Writer to join a team that creates technical documentation for customers using Internet of Things (IoT) services in the cloud and at the edge. AWS IoT provides libraries, tools, and services that developers use to build solutions involving Internet-connected devices such as sensors, actuators, embedded micro-controllers, or smart appliances and the AWS Cloud. Your documentation will help those developers collect telemetry data from multiple devices, and store and analyze the data, as well as create applications that enable users to control those devices from their phones or tablets. You will document new features and services and continuously improve existing documentation based on customer feedback. - A minimum of 2-3 years in a technical writing or developmental editing role - Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience - Experience designing, planning, and delivering content solutions that meet the needs of technical business customers - Ability to write example code in one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, Embedded-C, Swift, or Objective-C. - Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as developers,
