The AWS Cloud infrastructure is built around Regions and Availability Zones (AZs). AWS Regions provide multiple, physically separated and isolated Availability Zones which are connected with low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking. These Availability Zones offer AWS customers an easier and more effective way to design and operate applications and databases, making them more highly available, fault tolerant, and scalable than traditional single datacenter infrastructures or multi-datacenter infrastructures. Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy Technical Program Manager to help develop and scale one of the world’s largest
· A Bachelor's Degree in an IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. · 5-years telecommunications industry experience in a similar environment · Experience working in a network planning or implementation role at an ISP, telecoms operator, or CDN. · Experience working at a large network operator, OTT or Internet Service Provider. · Prince2/PMP certifications. · Agile/Scrum certifications. · Knowledge of Metro Fiber Optic Networks and Technologies · Ability to anticipate customer requirements and build strategic plans. · Demonstrated understanding
