The AWS Hardware Engineering team creates server designs for Amazon’s innovative web services. Our designs are industry leading in performance and operational excellence, and are critical to the success of the AWS business and the more than one million customers who use AWS today. Our TPMs solve challenging technology problems, and build architecturally sound, high-quality programs to enable AWS to realize critical business strategies. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background, be detail driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, have strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.You will have a deep understanding of server hardware design and architecture details and will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership and customers. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the team’s decisions, drive secure and robust solutions and produce high quality products to delight
· 6+ years of experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional programs · Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules · Hardware Development and Qualification Experience · Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline· Proven results from establishing and optimizing software engineering processes for different organizations/environments · Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment · Fast learner on new technologies · Experience with server platform
