Enabling Amazon’s explosive growth requires top talent in our Finance Technology (FinTech) organization. FinTech is seeking a Technical Program Manager to be a part its new Horizon team. Do you want to work with the latest data analytics technologies such as EMR, Spark, Hive, Redshift, Athena to build a big data platform? Do you want to use Machine Learning to solve complex finance problems ? Are you interested in using cutting edge techniques to scale financial systems for the growing Amazon business? Do you like to solve the most complex and large-scale data challenges in the world today? We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to work on platform architecture, implement horizontally scalable data processing algorithms, and come up with innovative ideas to benefit the customers. You will work in a fast paced environment with some of the brightest engineers to innovate on behalf of the customer. You should be somebody that is passionate about solving customers’ problems and gets
· Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar. · Demonstrated ability in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing. · Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Scala) · Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.).Enabling Amazon’s explosive growth requires top talent in our Finance Technology (FinTech) organization.
