As part of the elite Engineering Excellence team you will optimize operational support for multiple large scale distributed systems from 50+ groups in one of the larger development organizations at Amazon. Amazon operates the largest e-commerce platform in the world and this requires massive investment in compute infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge software engineering practices, and around the clock support from engineering staff. Our organization includes well known Amazon features such as Customer Reviews/Ratings, Amazon Smile, Lists, Product Content, Navigation, as well as Images and Information displayed on the Detail Page and Home Pages of Amazon apps and sites. Basic Qualifications: · 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry (experience owning a program/product/feature, scoping requirements, planning milestones, project management and working with technical teams) · 5+ years of experience in software development and handling operations for complex distributed systems. · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field · Strong communicator in both verbal, written forms and equally adept in communicating upwards and downward · Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project
