The Alexa Voice Service (AVS) team is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to support our third party device makers who are integrating Alexa into their products. This position will work with a variety of roles across the organization to build out new products and features on Alexa. This includes coordinating and managing activities across a variety of internal teams to plan and lead the execution of AVS integrations as well as to support success post-launch. We are looking for innovative individuals who thrive on solving tough problems in an unformulated environment. Strong technical skills, delivering results, bias for action, ability to multi-task/prioritize, ability to influence leadership, and a natural curiosity are essential traits for success in this role. As a TPM, you will wear many hats and be required to navigate an always shifting landscape of bottlenecks, technical constraints, and prioritization tradeoffs. · 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field· An advanced technical degree or MBA · Experience in the voice processing, portable device or voice service industry · Experience working across multiple business units to achieve results · Experience with speech-related hardware systems · An ability to simultaneously manage multiple, fast-paced initiatives · Passion for technology, digital content and voice experience · Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with technical and non-technical stakeholders
