Amazon Lockers are self-service kiosks placed in convenience stores, grocery stores, shopping centers, transit stations, multifamily buildings and other retail locations with high customer density. To pick-up orders or drop-off returns, customers select a Locker on the website; receive a code, and then collect or drop-off the package at their convenience. The Amazon Locker team in Seattle is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as Technical Operations Manager. As the Technical Operations Manager you will own the functionality of fleet hardware and software solutions. The role of the Technical Operations Manager will be to ensure Locker uptime by managing the servicing support vendor, reducing the speed
· Relevant experience in hardware/software/engineering projects · Proven leadership skills and experience working with an outsourced service provider · Excellent written and oral communication skills required · Ability to prioritize multiple work-streams · Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results · Ability to establish credibility and work with business and technical owners· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related fields. · Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency creating in Microsoft Excel · Experience
