The Global Operations Systems organization is looking for experienced Systems Development Engineers with a strong focus on infrastructure and development background. We are building enterprise level tools for services at a large scale, we leverage AWS products in our tooling and automation efforts. If you have a passion for automating and streamlining workflows, AWS technologies, and operating at large scale, keep reading. In this role you will work with your group and other internal Amazonians to develop new workflows to streamline day to day operations in IT. You will build the tools, services, and automation that move our Enterprise IT infrastructure to infrastructure-as-code and or web-based interactions. You will use AWS products and DevOps methodologies to build enterprise scale management systems for our Windows and Unix based environments. These business products include but not limited to: Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, SharePoint, System Center Configuration Manager, MS SQL
· Bachelor degree in an engineering field or relevant experience. · 3+ years’ experience in a Microsoft Enterprise ecosystem (SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, etc.) in large scale (over 5,000 users) global environments. · 1+ years of industry experience as a Systems Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer or equivalent. · 2+ years of building automation and tools to streamline operational processes. · Proficient use of at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, C#, etc.) · The ability to work at global scale and automate processes· Experience with development depth in OOP,
