Join a team of talented engineers to pioneer the next generation of cloud based automation systems for AWS data centers. As part of the global controls engineering team, you will work with highly motivated experts and innovators in the data center industry. You will drive multiple projects, including multi-million dollar controls deployments and retrofitting legacy buildings. Utilizing Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes or standards and test innovations in the controls space. As a Systems Engineer, you will: · Have end-to-end ownership of major engineering projects within the Global Controls Deployment and Service team. · Build and rollout innovative systems to multiple global regions · Create processes that can be leveraged to help drive efficiencies and quality

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience · 5+ years' overall Systems Administration and Engineering experience · 3+ years’ experience with a UNIX/Linux operating system · 1+ years' scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Perl, Shell, Python and/or Ruby) · Experience with network components (Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.) · Excellent Network troubleshooting fundamentals · Advanced degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline · Experience with AWS technologies and services including industry certification (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer,
