You will drive multiple projects, including multi-million dollar controls deployments and retrofitting legacy buildings. Utilizing Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes or standards and test innovations in the controls space. As a Systems Engineer, you will: · Have end-to-end ownership of major engineering projects within the Global Controls Deployment and Service team. · Build and rollout innovative systems to multiple global regions · Create processes that can be leveraged to help drive efficiencies and quality
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience · 5+ years' overall Systems Administration and Engineering experience · 3+ years’ experience with a UNIX/Linux operating system · 1+ years' scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Perl, Shell, Python and/or Ruby) · Experience with network components (Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.) · Excellent Network troubleshooting fundamentals · Advanced degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline · Experience with AWS technologies and services including industry certification (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer,
