AWS Snowball is looking for a support engineer to help drive excellence in customer experience for Snowball products and services. AWS Snowball is changing how customers interact with the cloud and who those customers are. Both as a highly secure, petabyte-scale data transport solution and a temporary on-site implementation of key AWS services, Snowball is an appliance and service that can transfer up to petabytes of data into and out of the AWS Cloud and provide key AWS Cloud services to remote locations; industry response has been tremendous. We are building new products that expand who and how the Snowball devices can enable cloud services and storage to solve their problems. We are looking for Software Development Engineers (SDEs) like you to help us design and build these innovative new products. The AWS Snowball products are highly secure, shippable devices that; are able to survive 8.5+ G drops, have their own weather proof shipping container, and have onboard sensors and an integrated
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field; or 3+ years relevant work experience · Experience with Linux · Experience with scripting (shell, Python or similar)· Experience using AWS services (EC2, S3, Snowball, DynamoDB) · Customer-facing experience in support engineering role · Experience with Storage technology (NFS, S3, Samba) · Experience with network troubleshooting
