Amazon’s Supply Chain Operations Team is looking for a candidate with strong business judgment skills and a proven record of accomplishments while working with internal and external order management teams. The ideal candidate should be a high-energy self-starter that is excited to work on order management and across multiple functions. Proven project management skills, attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strong experience in Microsoft Excel are necessary for this role. Responsibilities for this role include: - Track the status of purchase requisitions to purchase order using internal tools and processes - Manage, analyze and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally - Work with vendors and Procurement to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals - Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations - Tracking recurring issues that arise in the purchase requisition to purchase order creation process and proactively recommend solutions
Basic Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or related fields. · 1+ years of experience in supply chain management and/or supply planning role · Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Office Preferred Qualifications: · Prior experience as an Operations Analyst or related roles · Experience with SQL/VBA · Experience using purchasing module within ERP suite. · Advanced knowledge of supply chain/inventory systems. · Knowledge of Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order processes. · Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced
