Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) is an exciting and fast evolving engineering group within Microsoft. CSCP's mission is to optimize and deliver industry leading cloud infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services used by our Customers around the world. The organization is responsible for strategy and delivery of the foundational platform for all Microsoft Online Services including demand and capacity forecasting, supply chain, data centers, networking, bandwidth, operations, and incident management. CSCP supports over 200 online businesses including Bing, O365, OneDrive, Xbox and Windows Azure branded services. Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) manages sourcing and supply of hardware for all of Microsoft's current and future on-line services. Well-defined and executed Strategic Sourcing and Supply Management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information
• Be direct quality interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners • Ownership of Supplier Quality requirements, Product Specific Quality and Test Plans • Implement quality metrics to drive end-to-end continuous improvement, provide continuous feedback and report documentation on failure analysis and CAPAs • Responsible for managing the failure analysis and correct actions • Ensure the suppliers have developed and executed manufacturing quality/test control plan to insure compliance of product established specifications • Review all new product introductions FAI to determine supplier's capability
• Able to communicate effectively in written and oral manner, so that all stakeholders have clear understanding of issues and metrics • Able to maintain a broad perspective, and identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration. • Creates a vendor engagement model, evaluates vendor readiness, and captures vendor knowledge for use across the product line. • Has deep understanding of electro-mechanical manufacturing technologies and processes • Has strong communication and project management skills
