The Microsoft Cloud Sourcing and Supply Chain (CSSC) group is an exciting and fast evolving engineering group within Microsoft. CSSC's mission is to optimize and deliver industry leading cloud infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's cloud services used by our customers around the world. The organization is responsible for sourcing and delivery of the hardware needed for all Microsoft Cloud Services including strategic sourcing and End to End supply chain management of all the server and networking products to ensure time to market, reliable on-time performance, optimized cost structure. We are looking for passionate, high energy and capable individual who has expertise in Server related PCBA/component sourcing, engineering or operation to join the team. An ideal candidate will lead supplier relationships, defining the category and supply base strategy, including influencing hardware technology roadmap to meet Microsoft Cloud requirement, driving continual cost optimization

Develop, own and execute the sourcing strategy inclusive of supplier selection/development, technology roadmap and key success criteria Establish and maintain business relationships with strategic suppliers Manage component or PCBA strategy including cost and availability through the product lifecycle (from new platform NPI through EOL) Drive supplier performance in terms of cost, lead-time and capability to enable Microsoft's success Foster the partnership with engineering and business partners to identify/influence design and technology selection Ensure creation of robust negotiation strategies
