Business Development team The AWS Business
Many AWS customers are eager to understand best practices for how Amazon.com delivers innovative consumer-facing services and products and utilizes AWS services at a huge scale to transform and optimize business processes. The AWS Business Development team is hiring a Strategic Business Development Principal, AWS, to engage with customers around (a) the history and mechanisms behind Amazon.com’s most visible innovations, (b) the technical, process, and organizational best practices behind Amazon.com’s use of Amazon Web Services, and (c) the resulting business value. In these briefings, you will be responsible for understanding the customer’s background, interests, business drivers, innovation processes, and current technical architecture, and then identifying further areas for AWS adoption and collaboration. You will partner with internal Amazon.com and AWS leaders to develop reusable customer-facing and field assets (working with Marketing) for both IT and line of business audiences and
· 7+ years of IT experience as a technical specialist, technical sales, enterprise architect, or consultant in customer-facing roles. · 2+ years of experience directly working with the AWS platform. · Enterprise technology and solutions experience, including infrastructure domains such as computing, storage, databases, and applications domains such as corporate enterprise applications, and business applications. · Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations. · Willingness and ability to work autonomously, with some domestic and international
