We develop partnerships with our internal hardware and software engineering and development teams and our third party external suppliers to deliver high-quality products that delight our customers and deliver a fantastic Windows/Could/AI experience. Develop and execute a market leading sourcing category and supply base strategy in the Electrical components (Passives and Semiconductors) category via full market knowledge, supplier rationalization, predictable and industry leading commodity pricing plan, and total cost of ownership (TCO) cost modeling through transparent supplier relationship management. Secure components and/or services in the assigned category that will provide competitive advantage in both technology and cost for Microsoft. Serve as key escalation channel responsible for continuity of supply risk. In this role you must have: 5 to 8 years' experience in electrical components and semiconductor industry and business professional with strong engineering, or supply chain expertise. Direct supply chain/materials and delivery management experience is preferred Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Supply Chain management, or Business related field. MBA degree preferred.
