AWS is hiring a Cloud Solutions Engineer for AWS AppSync -- a serverless backend service based on GraphQL -- for building web, mobile, and IoT applications. AppSync launched as GA in April 2018 and has already been used by thousands of developers as the backend for their collaborative, real-time, and offline-enabled applications. These applications include chat, virtual meeting spaces, IoT dashboards, and game leaderboards that require users to work on shared data, receive updates in real-time, and manipulate the data even when offline. AppSync makes this easy for developers by offering a consistent programming interface for frontend developers regardless of whether they are integrating DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Aurora Serverless, and/or Lambda on the backend. The ideal candidate is an experienced and motivated technologist who possess a unique balance of technical depth and customer facing experience.
