The SAP Platform Architect Manager will be responsible for the overall leading, organization and management of the SAP Platform Architecture team, including Basis, Cloud, Integration and Development Architect. Key responsibilities: Manage and lead the overall SAP Platform Architecture team, both for existing SAP NetWeaver landscapes and new SAP Hana based landscapes, as well as Azure cloud support and integration. Assist and drive roadmap and prioritization for the onboarding of new SAP software as well as migration of existing ones into Microsoft Azure cloud-based operation. Work closely with the Functional Architect teams as well as the platform project management and delivery teams, to understand and include their diverse requirements within the overall SAP eco-system, at Microsoft including sizing,
Knowledge, experience and skills: 20 years of relevant SAP or industry experience A minimum of 12+ years' experience as a manager of technical or IT teams within and around SAP solutions and landscapes At least 10 years of experience with large technology engagements as an SAP Architecture Lead or SAP Technical Architect Ability to engage with customers and partners, both inside and outside of Microsoft to understand their business needs and priorities, technological landscape and roadmaps. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with Basis, development and infrastructure Architects
