Help us build the next-generation machine learning infrastructure that will be the basis of internal and external efforts to power real-world AI solutions in enterprises, including Microsoft. Manage a team of 10-15 engineers to enable the machine learning operations, including model life cycle, validation, profiling, telemetry, versioning, A/B testing, and deployment. Enable our customers to build their models using familiar tools and bring them anywhere, including the cloud, local machines, and IoT devices. Be a part of an engineering culture where ownership and independence overcome organizational boundaries, and help engineers grow by enabling them to work on rapidly changing project teams that form across organizational boundaries.
Manage a team of 10-15 engineers, with regards to career growth, mentoring, and technical growth. Additionally take on technical design, architecture, and coding work in the Inferencing area of AML. The job will require roughly 50% engagement on both of these.
Minimum requirements: 3-5 years of experience managing a team. Expertise in design and architectural fundamentals for distributed systems and coding patterns Proven familiarity with DevOps patterns and culture Flexibility in working with open source as well as internal components Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Desirable: Open source experience Familiarity with ML concepts and components Familiarity with Linux and Container infrastructures Has previously worked in organizations that promote flat and open structures Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security
