Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) Engineering Group is chartered with supporting profitable growth of Microsoft's Cloud business by optimizing the infrastructure capacity management and implementing services to measurably improve business processes. Cloud services enable a promise of elastic scale and infinite capacity. A key challenge in realizing this promise is to always know the ideal quantity of infrastructure resources (datacenters, power, racks, servers, network devices, bandwidth, IP addresses) to carry - a hard problem, and employ near real-time mechanisms to achieve the planned resource utilization at scale - an even harder problem. We envision a dynamic, scalable and distributed system that will allow us to continuously model the planned quantity and automatically adjust the provisioning and consumption rate of cloud infrastructure resources. Familiarity and experience with implementing functional aspects of supply chain and software engineering in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical understanding of Dynamics 365 Experience extending, modifying and improving Dynamics 365 features Experience operating Dynamics 365 in an agile DevOps/Livesite culture
To be successful in this role you will need (required): • BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role, with a proven track record of delivering complex products and services. Preferred: • Familiarity with designing and operating distributed systems and strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent communications skills, ability to talk to customers as well as senior leaders. • Deep background in all aspects of software engineering and development lifecycles. • Passion for improving the reliability of engineering systems. • Proven track record
