Configuration Management team Azure Compute Configuration
We are the Azure Compute Configuration Management team. Our team drives running tasks within compute instances that allows customers to automate operational tasks, perform application deployments and updates at scale, without logging into the servers. This includes the new Azure compute native management capabilities running across millions of instances, as well as the Azure Automation Hybrid stack. Our team culture is agile, collaborative, data driven, and passionate. We are looking for an engineer with excellent engineering practices, team skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where we ship continuously.

As a Software Engineer on the team you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and running hyper-scale services in production. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people from across the group giving you a great opportunity to impact Azure. You must embrace and seek out new and innovative technologies that can light up the future of cloud computing, creating applications and features that will drive the management of cloud infrastructure for years to come.
Qualifications: • 3+ Years of software design and development experience Passion for designing, building and evolving highly available, geo distributed systems at scale Must be a disciplined forward-looking engineer, driving the feature from design to production across multiple regions Proficient in C#, C++, or equivalent languages; Python is a plus Strong communication skills Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent area of study Additional experience with the following will be helpful, but not required: Experience
