Observability platform team, part of Azure Production Infrastructure Engineering runs one of the largest data platforms in industry. Building on foundations from around the company as well as Open Source community, the platform is used to solve data questions relating to service health, performance and business impact. Thousands of engineers, data scientists and business owners across the company rely on the timeliness and quality of the data.
We are looking for individuals with unique combination of analytical and engineering skills, capable of applying latest methods of statistical and machine learning towards a variety of real-life scenarios. Our goal is to use AI to help discover interesting data trends in massive streaming data sets in real time. Successful candidate would have the following qualifications: 3+ years of experience designing and shipping software products (client or service) Strong background and interest in statistical and machine learning algorithms Excellent analytical skills Background in data science, especially in time series analysis is a plus Experience in designing and developing internet scale services and supporting them in production is a plus Experience with service intelligence, telemetry systems and using them to monitor complex systems at internet scale is a plus Strong design and programming skills in one
