Design and develop operating system components that run on a large variety of Windows devices like PCs, Xbox and HoloLens System level design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components using large scale telemetry data to make informed decisions Participate in team-wide design and code reviews Develop "best-in-class" solutions by ensuring that components are: well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable Improve test coverage, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas Gain a working understanding of Microsoft
Knowledge, experience and skills: 3+ years of software development and design experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering or related field, or completion of a Code/Developer academy program Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, C# or Java Preferred, not required: Operating in an Agile team Relevant experience in software and systems design Testing mindset, before beginning code development Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are
